Adwoa Smart dated 999 men: a place in world record?
The strength of a woman is not measured by height. The small Ghanaian actress, Adwoa Smart, can be included in the Guinness World Records for having dated 999 men in her life. Yet, she says that none of them are planning to marry her, despite many promises. She also said she had never bought or owned a car in her life.
Belinda Naa Ode Oku, commonly known as Adwoa Smart, revealed that she had dated a significant number of 999 men. Sadly, she said that none of the 999 men with whom she had a romantic relationship were ready to marry her, despite the many promises they had made to her.
At the age of 55, Adwoa Smart has never been married before and is not sure she knows the joy of being a married woman.
Turning to her private life, she gave the names of her parents as Mr. and Mrs. Oku, who lived in Abossey Okai, Accra. Adwoa Smart said that she had to drop out of primary school because her classmates made fun of her and could not bear the ordeal.
She revealed that when she was 18, she met Nana Yaw, who was then 35 years old. He was one of the musicians on Ghana’s famous Obra Soul Train. She revealed that both of them had fallen in love. Their relationship gave birth to a little girl who sadly passed away after seven months.
In her search for the chosen one of her life, she says she met a businessman named Alex again in 1993, who also left her after many promises to marry her because she had rejected his idea of having a baby before marriage.
Adwoa Smart, who has dwarfism, has been in many films such as Obra, Matters Of The Heart, Efiewura, Yaa Asantewaa, and Black Star 2. The actress recently revealed that she has never bought or owned a car in her life in an interview. Yet this is part of her dreams, she said.
