“Click to chat”, new feature on WhatsApp

How does “Click to Chat” work?

This new setting that has been tested on Android and iOS works as follows.

First you need to create a link that will allow you to start a chat with the desired person.

The link in question is as follows:  https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone= followed by the country code and phone number of the person in the international format.

Once the link is created, simply copy and paste it into any browser and you will be redirected to WhatsApp who will propose to chat with this number via a “Message” button without having to add it in your contacts.
