Facebook and Instagram disrupt worldwide

The most popular applications of the Play Store did not work yesternight.

Facebook and Instagram users tried unsuccessfully to open their favourite app. Not everyone was bothered and it is not clear what exactly was going on for the time being.

The malfunction seems to have affected users around the world, with thousands of reports in just one hour. Frustrated, they share their grief via Twitter and other applications that do work.

Both the mobile application and the desktop version of Facebook and Instagram seemed to have crashed.

According to Down Detector of Facebook, there was mainly a failure in the United States and Europe.
