Yesterday the Tour of Great Britain crossed North Devon in England, in order to be able to shoot beautiful aerial images, a gigantic racing bike was made on a mountain along the coast.

Today it is still there, but vandals adapted the drawing.

Yesterday there were still thousands of cycling fans in the streets of Ilfracombe, a coastal town with ten thousand inhabitants. Among them were Tour winner Geraint Thomas and Chris Froome. And on Capstone Hill, which the riders had to cross, a giant racing bike was made with straw bales.

That undoubtedly produced beautiful aerial images. However, vandals adapted the drawing last night. The wheels are still in the same place, but the frame of the bicycle has been rearranged. That is why a huge peniz is now on the mountain.

According to the project coordinator who is behind the drawing, “it is now quite creative, but most of all the bike will be remembered”. For a long time, the tempered drawing will not stand, because today drawing would disappear again.
