Guinea: Mamady Youla resigns

In Guinea, the government resigned on Thursday in the middle of the day without the reasons being specified.

The Head of State accepted and took note of his resignation.

According to the BBC correspondent in Conakry, President Alpha Condé asked the outgoing government team to remain in office to handle the day-to-day business until a new government is in place.

Mamady Youla was appointed on December 26, 2015.
