During a press conference, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira explained their plans for their big 12-minute performance at the halftime show. Lopez also said there would be a moment dedicated to Kobe Bryant, the American basketball star who died in a helicopter crash on Sunday.
“On Sunday, we will honor Kobe and celebrate life and diversity. I’m sure he would be proud of the message we want to convey,” Shakira explained.
The Super Bowl is the American soccer final played every February in the United States between the champions of the American Football Conference and National Football Conference, the two professional leagues united under the National Football League, which organizes the Super Bowl.
