Kenyan man declared dead wakes up and cries in the hospital

A Kenyan man has just hit the headlines, probably coming back from death to life. The information is very unusual and revives the age-old debate on life after death.

A man in Kenya named Peter Kigen, aged 32, who had already been declared dead by doctors, regained consciousness three hours later. This resurrected man, who really did not want to meet his Lord, suddenly woke up when workers were preparing to embalm him in a morgue.

However, Peter Kigen was pronounced dead on Tuesday, 24 November, after collapsing in his house. He had been rushed to Kapkatet Hospital in Kericho County, according to local media reports.

Transferred to the morgue after being declared dead by doctors, Mr. Kigen suddenly awoke. Better still, he was crying tears

of pain as the mortuary workers made an incision in his right leg. The mortuary workers took flight when they heard his cries.

As for the “resurrected”, he told journalists that he was “happy to be alive and that he had promised to devote his life to evangelization”. But his joy at being alive again is not very well shared by those close to him. In any case, his family is now demanding justice. They accuse the local hospital of negligence.
