Lindsey Vonn air heart after bikini photos leak: “I’m not ashamed!”

Lindsey Vonn is enjoying her retirement to the fullest. The 34-year-old American ex-ski star traveled with her boyfriend, Canadian ice hockey player PK Subban, to Miami Beach to let off steam and, above all, to enjoy each other. The latter was especially apparent during a pool party. Images made at the party show how the lovebirds constantly hug each other.

Vonn herself also saw the photos pass and there was something she really wanted on Twitter. “It has now been five weeks since I had surgery on my knee. As a result, I have not been able to really exercise in the past period and I do not feel very confident in my body at the moment,” Lindsey Vonn writes.

“This past weekend I ventured on to Miami Beach with not much muscle, new scars and my cellulite on display. Even being completely out of shape I’m, still proud of my body and I’m not ashamed to walk around in a bikini! That being said, I’m excited to start to get back into shape soon and even more excited to show you what “in shape Lindsey” looks like in the new SI swimsuit that comes out next week.”

Lindsey Vonn also indicates that she intends to dive into the powerhouse again. “That being said: I am looking forward to getting back into shape and to show what a ‘Lindsey-in-shape’ really looks like in the Swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated.” The American magazine will be out next week and so Vonn also makes her appearance. The ski champion is not doing this for the first time.

The American also made her appearance in 2010 and in 2016. The first time in bikini with the American flag as its motif, on a snow-covered Canadian mountain. Three years ago, she settled down on mere body paint on a beach in the Caribbean. This year she seems to have mainly opted for white swimwear in Mexico.

In February of this year, Lindsey Vonn permanently stored her skis at the World Championships in Are, Sweden. She waved goodbye with bronze in the descent. She wanted to make a shot this season at the 86 World Cup victories of the legendary Ingemar Stenmark but got stuck at 82 pieces. With that, she goes into history as the most successful ski star ever. She was also good for gold on the Olympic descent in 2010 and won two world championships.
