Mohamed Salah beats Drogba’s record, Ivorian reacts

Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah makes an impressive performance in the Premier League. Author of 30 goals in 32 games with Liverpool, he has already managed to beat the record of achievement in one season by an African player.

While this record was held by former Ivorian striker Didier Drogba (29 goals in 2009-2010). It is now Mohamed Salah who becomes the holder of this impressive performance.

By giving the Liverpool Reds a victory over Bournemouth (3-0), he became the new African player to score the most goals in a Premier League season.

The former elephant captain, Didier Drogba, did not fail to greet this performance of the Egyptian via his account instagram: “It was just a matter of days before this guy sent my African Premier League scorer record to oblivion. Very proud of you little brother. Continue to bring Africa to the highest!! As I said already about you, the best is yet to come”, greeted the Ivorian on his Instagram page.

Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah once again enters the history of African football as the top Premier League scorer in the same season.

We do not forget that he is the holder of the African gold ball of the year 2017. Nice player, the former Elephant congratulated the Egyptian.
