Real-Juventus: the UFA supports the referee

The match between Real-Madrid vs Juventus continues to be talked about, since Juve fans still have not digested the penalty awarded to Real Madrid in the 93rd minute.

A week after this famous match, Michael Oliver the referee of this whistle and his companion were placed under police protection on Monday and for good reason, the couple would be the object of insults and threats, both by phone and on social networks.

As informed, UEFA has supported the referee, “we are in contact with them to offer our support,”  said a spokesman for the European body, reported by BBC Sport.

“We are convinced that the authorities will take appropriate measures against people who behave inappropriately on and off social networks,” concluded the spokesman of the UFA.
