Show your string is on hip again

Sisqo – you know, the American R&B singer known for the ‘Thong Song’ – will be delighted. The reason? It seems strong that showing your underwear, and more specifically your thong, is making a comeback.

The Kardashians and co. are known to regularly swirl a photo on social media in a little cloaked outfit. And yet, a recent position from Kylie Jenner is immediately spotted. The slingshot us straight to the 90s, when it was still hip to wear a low pair of hip pants that a tiny little thong came out of.

Built-in string

The 21-year-old reality star is not the only one who wants to breathe new life into this 90s trend. Her sister Kendall Jenner preceded her two years ago on the red carpet of the prestigious Met Gala. And again this year someone at the benefit event dared to show a dash of lingerie: none other than Hailey Bieber appeared in an open-back dress with ‘built-in string’.

Actress Alexa Demie also followed in the footsteps of Hailey Bieber and strolled over the red carpet with – you guessed it – a striking string.

The only difference with the nineties? The stars clearly adjust their lingerie to the rest of their outfit. That also makes it a little more ‘stylish’. We are already curious whether other stars and influencers will go for it.

What do you think of this comeback?
