He spends $1.6 million to bleach his skin

A Kenyan musician known as Sheldi Gorgeouz, stunned his fans on social media after reading his Facebook page on February 6, 2018, revealing that he had bleached his skin.

The controversial musician who launched his career in 2011, said he had dug deep into his pockets to fund the proceedings, adding that his bleaching should not be equated with that of popular socialite, Vera Sidika had to consult three doctors of first order, confirms the Kenyan website tuko.co.ke.

He posted his new photos and wrote that he “had to hire three doctors, one from China, the other from London, and my main doctor from New York. They made a special body cream for me, and that’s my copyright. No one else uses that cream except with my permission and authority.”

He said that contrary to rumours, what he did was not to whiten, it was brightening and the cream he used was made exclusively for him.

“Yes, I cleared the skin. I spent 165 million Kshs (Kenyan shillings) – or 871913813 FCFA – that’s a lot of money but I realized what I wanted. My skin lightening process took place in the United States, but I thank God that it’s a success,” wrote the musician.
