‘The Good Place’ actress quarrels with Cardi B about slimming tea
Jameela Jamil (32) is tired of stars promoting things like slimming tea on social media. The ‘The Good Place’ actress expressed her annoyance with a screenshot of a post from Cardi B (26), who did not take long to respond.
“They got Cardi B on the laxative nonsense “detox” tea. GOD I hope all these celebrities all shit their pants in public, the way the poor women who buy this nonsense upon their recommendation do,” said Jameela. “Not that they actually take this shit. They just flog it because they need MORE MONEY”. When Cardi saw the mail, she reacted with a joke. “I will never defecate in my pants because there are public toilets everywhere. Oh, and bushes.”

Jameela has been fighting against stars that promote diet products on social media. Previously, she went to Kim Kardashian when the reality star promoted slimming lollies on Instagram. In a post addressed to Kim, whom she later described in an interview as a wolf in sheep’s clothing, she said among other things: “that money is earned with the blood and the tears of young women.”

The actress stated that she is so fiercely opposed to such products because of her own experiences. “I was that teenager who starved himself, who spent all her money on these wonder drugs and took tips from stars about how I could achieve a weight that was much lower than my body wanted. I was ill and therefore have metabolic problems for the rest of my life.”
