These are the best loop cities for sporting travelers

Sporty holidays are increasingly popular from skiing to real yoga holidays: people increasingly take their sportswear on a journey and we can only encourage that. For the runners among us, these are the best cities to walk.

A beautiful view, a great course and lots of other things to keep you happy when you put on your running shoes. Walking through a new city is one of the best ways to discover the city. You do more than the average tourist and discover nicer places than by car or bus.

Tokyo
The well-organized metro in Tokyo takes you where you need to be. There are lockers at the station where you can leave your keys, wallet and possibly clothes. The footpath around the imperial palace is one of the most central and popular places in Tokyo where many runners come together. The round never crosses streets and is about 5 km long.
When you walk best in Tokyo: from October to May.

Dubai
“Good GEEE!” Do we already hear you think? But wait a minute. There are several beautiful roads that are also well maintained. Dubai is a dream destination for runners. Of course, you do not want to run a marathon in the summer. At the stand is a 14 km long course that was specially designed for runners. You have a view of the beach and the iconic Burj Al Arab.
When is your best at Dubai? November to April.

Paris
Paris is not just the city of love but also, for the runners. The ideal place for a jog in the French capital? Next to the Seine. You walk past Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower and Le Jardin des Tuileries. Do you want more hills? Then head north of Paris and look for the Sacre Coeur.
When to walk in Paris? Best not in the winter months.

New York
Walking in New York goes beyond the typical tour in Central Park (although that is not to be missed). New York is a great city to walk. There are several hidden parks, roads and bridges at all places of the island. A good tip: also adjust your playlist when you walk in the Big Apple. For example, Jay Z is a good choice for ‘the city that never sleeps’.
Walking in New York? You do not do that in winter.

Vancouver
With the beautiful nature, it is no wonder that Canada is one of the most insidious places on earth. Vancouver has a lot of beautiful nature to offer, and that within walking distance of urban comfort. The beautiful mountains and paths along the coast turn Vancouver into a true runner’s paradise. The most beautiful route par excellence? That is the one by Stanley Park.
Losing your heart in Vancouver? The conditions are ideal from March to October.
