Trump calls “Democrats” who unite against him “clowns”

US President Donald Trump today called Democratic candidates for the primaries “clowns,” after they formed a big front against the president at the start of a television debate yesterday.

“Our record-breaking economy would crash, just as in 1929, if one of those clowns would become president,” tweeted Trump, referring to the Wall Street crash in the late 1930s.

The twelve Democratic candidates who took part in the Ohio debate yesterday all spoke out for impeachment, and Joe Biden called Trump the most corrupt president in modern history. Trump calls himself today, one of the most successful presidents.

“You would think there is NO WAY that any of the Democrat Candidates that we witnessed last night could possibly become President of the United States. Now you see why they have no choice but to push a totally illegal & absurd Impeachment of one of the most successful Presidents,” he also wrote on Twitter.

“And because of the fraudulent impeachment, Republicans in November’s elections next year will be able to recapture the House of Representatives without difficulty, win more seats in the Senate and deliver the president again,” Trump said.

The next television debate will take place on November 20 in the state of Georgia. The primaries in the run-up to next year’s presidential election begin in February 2020.
