Why Meghan Markle sought out a young woman to give her a hug
The 37-year-old former actress, shared a warm moment with a fanatic who was her follower in social networks.
Meghan Markle, pregnant with her first child, proved once again that she is a success among British royalty fans, as she enjoyed chatting and joking with fans outside the Sandringham church after the Christmas Mass.
Hundreds of fans defied the cold conditions to see the “fabulous four”, the nickname that the media has given to Harry, Meghan, William and Kate.
It is the second year of the Duchess of Sussex but the first year as monarch. The former actress of the TV show Suits embraced and was very affectionate with a particular girl she saw among the crowd outside the church in Norfolk. It was Jessica Daniels, a former follower of Markle on Instagram and Twitter.
When Meghan saw Jessica, 17, holding a small sign with her Instagram username, she recognized her instantly and exchanged a few words with her.
The teenager, from Peterborough, described the experience as “incredible” and added: “I started to see her in ‘Suits’, then I started following her on social media and followed her humanitarian work, so I’ve been a fan of her for a long time.” Jessica explained how her meeting with the Duchess was, that she closed her network accounts before marrying Harry: “She told me ‘it’s a pleasure to meet you, it’s amazing to see you at last’”.
