Despite blood shortage, Senegal sells pockets to Gambia

At a time when the National Blood Transfusion Center is crying out for blood shortages, it is reported that Senegal has sold blood bags to The Gambia.

Momodou Lamin Jammeh, spokesman for the Edward Francis University Hospital in Banjul, said the Gambian government had ordered blood bags from Senegal yesterday in Banjul to help solve the country’s blood shortage crisis, from Adama Barrow, reports LesEchos.

Senegal, for example, sells blood when less than a month ago, the Cnts showed a deficit in blood bags that it was trying to satisfy.
