There is only one real shot in “The Lion King”

Whether you are a fan of the remake of ‘The Lion King’’ or not, you cannot deny that it is a strong piece of CGI. Or 99.9 percent, because director Jon Favreau has now admitted that he has hidden one real shot in the film.

On Twitter, Favreau reported that his remake of the popular Disney classic numbered 1,490 shots. “There are 1490 rendered shots created by animators and CG artists.” “. I slipped in one single shot that we actually photographed in Africa to see if anyone would notice. It is the first shot of the movie that begins The Circle of Life.”

The image in question is at the very beginning of the film, at the start of ‘The Circle of Life’. It is about the iconic image of the rising sun.

“This is the only real shot in #TheLionKing. There are 1490 rendered shots created by animators and CG artists. I slipped in one single shot that we actually photographed in Africa to see if anyone would notice. It is the first shot of the movie that begins The Circle of Life.”
